Set up in a few minutes

Four steps on every platform: download a configuration from your account, install the app, import, connect.

Which protocol?

Start with WireGuard: it's the fastest and simplest. Use OpenVPN on older devices, and VLESS on networks that block VPN connections.

Windows

  1. Sign in to your VPN Bunny account, open Connect, choose WireGuard and a server, and download the configuration file.
  2. Install the WireGuard app for Windows (or OpenVPN Connect if you chose OpenVPN).
  3. In the app, choose "Import tunnel(s) from file" and select the file you downloaded.
  4. Click Activate. To stay protected, turn on "Block untunneled traffic (kill-switch)" in the tunnel settings.

macOS

  1. Sign in to your VPN Bunny account, open Connect, choose WireGuard and a server, and download the configuration file.
  2. Install WireGuard from the Mac App Store (or OpenVPN Connect for OpenVPN).
  3. Open the app, choose "Import tunnel(s) from file" and select the downloaded file. Allow the VPN configuration when macOS asks.
  4. Select the tunnel and click Activate.

Linux

  1. Sign in to your VPN Bunny account, open Connect, choose WireGuard and a server, and download the configuration file.
  2. Install the tools: for example "sudo apt install wireguard" on Ubuntu or Debian (or the openvpn package for OpenVPN).
  3. Copy the file to /etc/wireguard/ (for example as vpn.conf), or import it in NetworkManager's VPN settings.
  4. Connect with "sudo wg-quick up vpn", or switch the VPN on in NetworkManager.

Android

  1. Sign in to your VPN Bunny account on your phone, open Connect, choose WireGuard and a server.
  2. Install WireGuard (or OpenVPN for Android) from Google Play.
  3. Tap +, then "Scan from QR code" and scan the code shown in your account on another screen, or import the downloaded file.
  4. Turn the tunnel on and allow the VPN connection when Android asks. For a kill switch, enable "Always-on VPN" and "Block connections without VPN" in Android's VPN settings.

Android TV / Fire TV

  1. On a computer or phone, sign in to your VPN Bunny account, open Connect and download a WireGuard configuration file.
  2. Install WireGuard (or OpenVPN) on the TV from Google Play or the Amazon Appstore.
  3. Copy the file to the TV with a USB stick or a file-sharing app, then import it in the app.
  4. Turn the tunnel on and allow the VPN connection.

iPhone and iPad

  1. Sign in to your VPN Bunny account on another screen, open Connect, choose WireGuard and a server.
  2. Install WireGuard (or OpenVPN Connect) from the App Store.
  3. Tap "Add a tunnel", then "Create from QR code" and scan the code from your account, or import the downloaded file.
  4. Allow the VPN configuration when iOS asks, then switch the tunnel on.
